Note:

  • The questions in General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness sections will be of the level of 10th standard.
  • The English Language & Comprehension section will be of the level of 12th standard.

Exam Pattern:

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT):
    • Total Questions: 200
    • Total Marks: 200
    • Duration: 2 hours
    • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Skill Test:

  • Grade ‘C’ Stenographers:
    • Dictation: 10 minutes at 100 words per minute (w.p.m) in English/Hindi
    • Transcription: 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer
  • Grade ‘D’ Stenographers:
    • Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 w.p.m in English/Hindi
    • Transcription: 50 minutes (English) and 75 minutes (Hindi) on computer

Preparation Tips:
