The UPSC NDA (National Defence Academy) exam is considered one of the most competitive exams in India. Conducted twice a year, it is the gateway for young aspirants to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The exam is divided into two stages – written test and SSB (Service Selection Board) Interview. The written exam is divided into two papers – Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The Mathematics paper is for 300 marks, and the GAT paper is for 600 marks.

Algebra: Questions are asked from topics such as Sets, Relations, and Functions, Quadratic Equations, Linear Equations, Matrices, and Determinants.
Trigonometry: Questions are asked from topics such as Trigonometric Ratios, Identities, Heights and Distances.
Calculus: Questions are asked from topics such as Limits, Continuity, Differentiability, Differentiation, and Integration.
Probability and Statistics: Questions are asked from topics such as Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, and Probability.

General Ability Test (GAT):
This paper consists of two parts – English and General Knowledge. The English section is for 200 marks, and the General Knowledge section is for 400 marks.

General Knowledge: This section is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of General Science, History, Geography, Current Affairs, and others.
